The Transju’Cyclo 160 km: a beautiful escape between springs and valleys
Designed for true adventurers, the 100-mile route heads west in the footsteps of the pros, taking the hilly roads ofthe 2026 Tour de Francebetween Saint-Germain-en-Montagne and Andelot-en-Montagne. The tone is set. After heading towards Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne, you will face the major challenge of the day: the formidable climb toMontmahoux, the longest and most demanding part of the race.
The route then takes you through wild and varied landscapes, passing through Levier and the Col de Chalamont, before plunging into the mysterious setting ofthe Frasne peat bogs. It will then be time to recharge your batteries at theJura Pelletssawmill before tackling the final challenge: theCol du Lancier. Once you've crossed this summit, the route rewards you with a descent through the forest before skirting the sparkling shores ofLake Remoray, followed by a rolling section that allows you to shift gears all the way toMouthefor a final stop.
The finale is a wild, untamed landscape, winding through the upper Saine Valley and plunging into the spectacular Languette Gorge through the historic district of Syam. An exceptional itinerary, offering a complete immersion in the grandeur of the Jura.
