Transju’Trails 2026: A Successful First Day Under the Jura Sun

The 19th edition of the Transju’Trails got off to a great start this Saturday, June 6. Under ideal conditions, thousands of runners took to the trails of the Jura Mountains across the various races on the program: the 110 km Ultra, the 82 km (individual and relay), the 65 km, and the 42 km.

The highlight of this year’s event, the 110-km Ultra, lived up to all expectations. At the end of a grueling course linking Champagnole to Les Rousses, Ludovic Bourgeois and Caroline Sebert became the first winners of this distance. It was an exceptional adventure that allowed participants to discover the full diversity of the Jura’s landscapes.

In the other race categories, Aurélien Patoz and Lucie Guignet took first place in the 82 km race, while the Jouxy team won the 82 km relay. Team Transju’ Intersport excelled in the 65 km race thanks to victories by Donovan Faivre and Mathilde Duchaussoy. Finally, the 42 km race, which drew nearly 1,500 participants, was won by Baptiste Coatantiec and Veronika Kalinina.

Beyond the athletic achievements, this first day was marked above all by smiles, personal bests, and the excitement of the thousands of trail runners who came to enjoy the exceptional setting, with its forests, ridges, and panoramic views of the Alps and Mont Blanc.

The festivities continue this Sunday with 25K, 15K (trail and hiking), 10K, and 5K races, promising another day filled with sports and camaraderie.
