Top start Transju'Trails 2024

3,000 participants expected for the 17th edition of La Transju'Trails

 

The 17th edition of La Transju'Trails was officially launched today in Morez (Jura) with the opening of the Trail Show, followed by the first events: the 5km and the Transju'Trails des Marmots.

 

Young people in the spotlight

In Morez, under cool, overcast skies, the trail show opened its doors on the town hall square. The first competitors were in the 5 km race, starting at 2pm, and it was the youngsters who put on the show. Indeed, behind the winner Mohamed-Anouar Yahyaoui in 22'30, there were 6 minimes with race times between 23'12 and 23'45.

The first woman, Florence Bulit, won in 24'49.
At 4 p.m., 250 youngsters aged 7 to 13 set off on a challenging course in the form of a Jungle Run! Slalom, hay bales, tires, etc. The
The race was organized with the support of the "petites z'étincelles" association, which raises awareness of childhood and adolescent cancers, promotes the donation of life (blood, plasma, bone marrow) and raises funds to finance oncopediatric research projects, both in terms of prevention and research into new treatments.

 

See you tomorrow at 5.30am for the start of the 82km Trail in Les Rousses, followed by the 62, 42, 25, 15, 10 trails, and the 15km Randonnée.
