Change of route
📢 Transju' 2025: a new route adapted to current conditions
Given the weather conditions of recent weeks and the impossibility of using the traditional links between the mountain ranges, the Transju' organization had to adapt to maintain the event.
🌿 A preserved and accessible course
Unlike last year, there's plenty of snow on the heights of Les Rousses and Haut-Doubs, with almost a metre in some areas. However, environmental constraints prevent access to these areas. After studying all the options, only the resort of Les Rousses could host a race of this scale.
A new 40 km route has been defined, in the form of a 13-14 km loop to be run three times, with a start and finish at La Darbella, in the commune of Prémanon. This solution guarantees optimum conditions for runners, while preserving traffic flow on the slopes by staggering starts on Sunday mornings between 8.30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
🌍 Necessary adaptation to climatic challenges
With changing snow conditions, the organization is considering long-term solutions to guarantee the event's sustainability. While La Transju' remains a priority, it is now part of a four-season dynamic, with La Transju'Trails and La Transju'Cyclo, to perpetuate its spirit throughout the year.
